Information we collect
We collect account identifiers supplied by Apple, Google, or Facebook; the profile information you choose to provide; structured Vouch scores and first-hand relationship context; claims, reports, blocks, appeals, and support requests; and technical security events needed to prevent fraud and abuse.
We do not publish login email addresses, private phone numbers, IP addresses, device signals, verification evidence, moderator notes, internal trust or risk scores, or AI confidence values.
Location and place discovery
Location is requested only when you choose a nearby-search feature. It is used to return nearby businesses, restaurants, and communities. Voucho stores the selected place reference and coarse public locality, not a history of your movements. Private residential addresses are not public person profiles.
How information is used
We use information to operate accounts, create and distinguish profiles, calculate eligible Voucho Scores, process claims and verification, provide search and discovery, deliver notifications, protect minors, investigate abuse, answer support requests, and comply with legal obligations.
AI-assisted safety
Voucho uses rules first and may use AI to classify selected suspicious patterns or summarize a moderation case. AI is advisory and does not independently verify identity, determine legal truth, or make every final moderation decision. We minimize data sent for classification and keep internal safety signals private.
Protected minors
Voucho is not intended for independent public use by children under 13. Ages 13–17 receive a Protected Minor Profile with stricter visibility, rating, reporting, blocking, and guardian controls. Low ratings do not automatically publish on protected profiles. We do not casually create searchable unclaimed profiles for minors.
Sharing and service providers
Public profile information and eligible aggregate scores may be visible to other users and on shared profile links. We use contracted providers for authentication, hosting, payments through Apple, communications, maps, analytics, fraud prevention, and safety operations. We do not sell Voucho Scores or allow payment to improve reputation or moderation outcomes.
Retention and control
We retain account, rating-history, moderation, transaction, and audit records only as needed for platform integrity, safety, dispute handling, legal obligations, and the purposes described here. You may request access, correction, export, profile hiding, account deletion, or a review of retained data. Some fraud, transaction, moderation, or legal records may be retained after deletion where required or reasonably necessary.
